Hsin Tung Yang has long put corporate sustainable development into practice. Since establishing a CSR Promotion Task Force in 2019 and publishing its first report in 2020, we have continued to improve the quality of our sustainability governance and information disclosure. To establish a top-down management mechanism, we formally established the Sustainable Development Committee in December 2025 and promulgated the Sustainable Development Committee Organizational Charter.

Committee Organization and Responsibilities

The Committee is led directly by top management and, through cross-departmental integration, ensures that sustainability strategies are closely linked to operational goals. The organizational structure and division of responsibilities are as follows:

Chairperson：Held by President Mai Sheng Yang, responsible for overseeing the direction of the Company's sustainable development and major decisions.
Six functional groups：Convened by the relevant business supervisors, driving cross-departmental resource integration and collaboration. The areas covered are:
- Corporate Governance
- Supply Chain Management
- Product and Food Safety
- Environmental Sustainability
- Employee Care
- Social Impact
Sustainability Project Task Force：Responsible for carrying out the various sustainability project plans and for consolidating and compiling sustainability disclosure information.
Advisory Consultant：Held by internal senior managers, providing the transfer of sustainability expertise and practical consultation.

Sustainable Development Committee Organizational Structure

Committee Operation and Oversight Mechanism

In accordance with the organizational structure shown for the Sustainable Development Committee, we have established a bottom-up execution-tracking mechanism and a top-down management-oversight mechanism to ensure that sustainability strategies are genuinely implemented:

Project execution and tracking: Sustainability projects are driven by the six functional groups, which report interim results to the sustainability project team according to progress.
Senior management oversight: The Sustainable Development Committee convenes at least twice a year. Each group convener must report key actions and the overall effectiveness of implementation to the President.
Decision-making and reporting to the Board: Material sustainability issues, once decided by the President, are reported directly to the Board of Directors, which, as the highest governance body, provides oversight and supervision.
