Energy Management Strategy
Hsin Tung Yang promotes its energy management policy based on six major foundations and implements a systematic management mechanism. In addition to introducing the ISO 50001 energy management system to monitor energy usage data in real time, Hsin Tung Yang also strictly implements an energy audit system, thereby achieving its goal of developing a smart green factory.
Overview of Energy Consumption
In 2025, Hsin Tung Yang’s total energy consumption was 106,380 GJ, drawn mainly from purchased electricity, steam, and liquefied petroleum gas. In terms of renewable energy deployment, the Dayuan Plant has installed a solar photovoltaic system, and all green electricity generated from 2023 to 2025 was sold wholesale to Taipower. Going forward, we will continue to increase generating capacity and advance low-carbon transformation, with the long-term operational goal of achieving "100% self-generated and self-consumed renewable energy" by 2050.
